Description

Are you ready to stop second-guessing every mark?

Working from the live nude model, you'll discover a spontaneous mixed media approach that transforms the way you see, draw, and paint the human form. Through expressive mark making and hands-on experimentation with charcoal, soft pastel, gesso, acrylic, ink, and more, you'll gain the confidence to create with greater freedom and intention.

The hardest part of figure drawing isn't the human body. It's getting out of your own way. This workshop helps you do both.

Carlos's dynamic demonstrations, contagious energy, and personalized guidance help artists at every level make real breakthroughs.

Explore:

  • composition

  • color integration

  • surface preparation

  • fresh ways of seeing the figure

Over three immersive days, you'll loosen up, break free from old habits, and discover multiple ways to see and interpret the figure. Through live demonstrations, personalized one-on-one feedback, and expressive mixed media exercises, you'll build confidence with every session while making meaningful progress, no matter your experience level.

This isn't about drawing the perfect figure.

It's about learning to trust your eye, embrace your own mark making, and leave with the confidence to keep creating long after the workshop ends.
