FAQ
There are two Open Studio Membership options with a maximum of 20 participants per day.
Trial Membership (1-Month Only)
3 Days / Week (M-W-F) | $210 per month (does not renew)
3 Days / Week (T-Th-Sa) | $210 per month (does not renew)
SAVE! Premier Membership (Renews Monthly)
3 Days / Week (M-W-F) | $200 per month (automatic renewal)
3 Days / Week (T-Th-Sa) | $200 per month (automatic renewal)
Save $120 per year when you become a Premier Open Studio Member.
Open Studio Membership payments are due on the 1st of the month. If paid after the 5th, a late charge of $20 will be incurred. Credit card and PayPal processing fees apply. We do not accept cash, check or Venmo.

Yes. The gallery showcases a diverse selection of works by San Diego artists and beyond. Art calls are sent out throughout the year. Please subscribe to our email list for notifications.
Easels, tables and chairs are provided. Please bring the rest of the supplies you need.
Yes - as long as you use odorless or non-invasive turpentine.
Upon availability, 5 weekly wall spaces are available in the Open Studio by reservation only. Contact Kerstin at 619-310-6716 or gallery@woodwardcontemporary.com to reserve your spot.

The use of any toxic or flammable materials will not be used in the Open Studio due to health concerns.
Wix Events Fee: Wix (our secure website hosting platform) charges a 2.5% ticket service fee when using their event platform for ticket sales. This fee is applied to each ticket sold.
Credit Card Processing Fees: When customers pay with a credit card, Wix's payment processor charges standard processing fees. These fees typically range from 2.9% plus a flat fee per transaction (e.g., $0.30).
Separation of Fees: The 2.5% ticket service fee and the credit card processing fees are distinct and not overlapping. The ticket service fee is for using the Wix platform, while the payment processing fees are charged by the third-party payment processor.
Note: In the case of a customer-initiated, unwarranted credit card dispute, the customer is responsible for any/all dispute processing fees which will be applied to the customer's next invoice.
